It looks like a classic white-and-blue quartz bath tub with its polished, white and blue tile.
But what’s really going on here?
How do you build a quartz bath without the water draining out?
The answer lies in an unlikely source of inspiration.
Rose quartz is a mineral found in a mineral known as chalcopyrite, which is also used in crystals, the crystals that make up most quartz in the bathtub.
These crystals are a common mineral in bathtub systems, but in this case they were mined by a German company called Rose Quartz.
Rose Quartz’s owner, Matthias Koehler, is the son of a geophysicist and mineral scientist who started working on the idea for his father, a geologist by trade.
“We were very interested in the mineral properties of the quartz, and in particular, the properties of crystalline quartz,” Koehl says.
“It’s a very simple mineral, but it can be very difficult to find a mineral with a crystalline form.

Rose’s crystal form is very difficult for mineralogy to find Rose Quartz, which it is known as, has a number of properties.
It’s a mineral that is highly reactive with water, so when it is mixed with water it will turn into a mineral called hydroxide.
Hydroxide is also a strong mineral, making it hard to form.
Rose also contains elements that are unstable, such as copper and iron.

It is not just the mineral that makes this mineral attractive to the modern world.
The Rose Quartz gem has been used to make some of the most expensive bathtanks.
In the 19th century, the quartz crystals were sold in Europe as an ingredient in the cosmetics industry.
However, this has changed.
The mineral is now considered a rare commodity and the Rose family are not the only ones to have turned a profit on the mineral.
In 2012, a Chinese company, China Crystal, began mining and selling the mineral for a whopping $3 million.
The mine in the heart of central China, a large ore processing facility that employs about 100 people, is also the source of a huge gem.
There are several companies in China, all producing gemstones, but one of the biggest producers is China Crystal.
It mines the mineral in a mine in Jiangsu province in the north of the country.
The minerals are mined under conditions of low pressure, which means the pressure is lower than at other mines.
“The pressure is very low, but the conditions are very good,” says Matthias.
“So the pressure means we can work with very low temperatures,” says Thomas.
In China, Rose Quartz is mined in three phases, one of which takes place at the Rose quarry.
“I’m very happy that it’s happening in the region, because we want to be able to produce Rose Quartz on a large scale,” says Koehls father.
So far, the Rose Crystal mine in China has produced about 5,000 kilos of Rose Quartz crystals, which are worth about €400,000.
Matthias has already mined some more Rose Quartz stones and plans to turn some more of the crystals into bathtank stones for the local market.
He hopes to have this process up and running by the end of next year.
